We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant.

  • Performing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, month end close, general ledger maintenance, trial balance, journal entries, etc.

  • Improving existing accounting and financial processes and setting up new ones in the cooperation with the Head Accountant and CFO

  • Maintaining extended CAPEX register

  • Assisting with tax audits and tax returns

  • Support with statutory tax declarations such as VAT, CIT and other if applicable

  • Support with other statutory reporting such as GUS and PFRON 

  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors and statutory organisations

  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax regulations and legislation

  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

  • Supporting payroll processes, and cooperating with People Team

  • Avoiding legal challenges by complying with legal requirements

  • Supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Required skills
  • A good team player fitting our open collaborative atmosphere

  • Commercial and business awareness, client-focused

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy & integrity

  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal (PL and EN)

  • Ability to stick to time constraints

  • Around 4 years of proven success in finance, general international accounting

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and tax issues, especially CIT and VAT;

  • Knowledge of MS Office; Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Optima and Oracle Netsuite, will be an asset
