We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our IT team as a QA SPECIALIST.

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to suggest detailed testing strategy for features or bug fixes to the current / and future platform implementations
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools, or tools defined by company strategy
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet business and technical requirements
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and advise developers to implement solutions
  • Track quality assurance metrics (to be implemented)
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Education: University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or commensurate experience

Professional experience: 2+ years of experience in analysing software specifications, designing, implementing and executing test cases and procedures in an Agile environment

Languages: Fluent English - spoken and written

Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

  • Experience with Selenium and other tools for automatic testing for web applications (functional / unit testing)

  • Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested

  • Understanding of Business processes

  • Basic Linux & Docker knowledge

  • Understanding CI processes and tools used for that (i.e. Jenkins, GitLab CI)

  • Basic coding background Bash o

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders

  • Creative solving of technical problems

  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

  • Ability to think abstract and solve complex testing tasks

Nice to have:

  • Basic coding background in PHP, Java, or Python
